DIY Ring Sizing Guide
Have you stumbled upon an ideal ring? Use these steps to determine its right fit.
1. Get hold of a measuring tape, a piece of string, or a strip of paper.
2. Encircle the intended finger with your chosen measuring tool. If you're planning for a ring stack, think about the exact position on your finger. Then, mark the point where the two ends meet.
3. Place your string or paper flatly and measure its length up to the mark with a ruler. Refer to the chart provided to find the nearest ring size.
Measure an Existing Ring
An effective method whether you're planning a surprise gift or treating yourself.
1. Select a ring that sits comfortably on your finger.
2. Measure the Inside Diameter:
- Lay the ring flat on a surface.
- Using a ruler or digital caliper, measure straight across the inside of the ring from one edge to the opposite edge. Ensure you measure from the innermost points to avoid including the ring's thickness. Note down the measurement in millimeters (mm).
- Once you have the diameter, you can find the circumference using the formula: Circumference = Diameter Γ 3.14159 (Ο)
- Now, refer to the provided measurement chart to match the calculated circumference with the closest ring size in mm.
